Non-Grounded AdaptersA grounded adapter means it is suitable for use with a three-prong type of electrical sockets. So for example an adapter could have up to three types of plugs as the source and then have up to three types of plugs for the outlet. So for example this could be a UK three prong plug to a European 2 Pin plug.Multi Regional Adapters - These adapters offer multiple plug type options with multiple output options for travelling to different regions. Types of Travel AdaptersSingle Regional Adapters - These adapters offer a single adaptation from your electronic device, to you destinations electric output. The difference though is Europe operates on a 2 round prong outlet.Argentina, Morocco, Thailand, China and Egypt also use the European 2 prong power outlet. EuropeUsing the same voltage as the UK and Ireland of 230 volts with most electrical goods operating at between 220 - 240 volts. The United Kingdom and Ireland outlets require a unique 3 flat rectangular pronged plug type. Brazil, Mexico, Japan, some part of Egypt, Thailand and Peru also use this type of power adapters.UK and IrelandThe voltage for UK and Ireland is 230 volts with most electrical goods operating at between 220 - 240 volts. The plug type is two prongs with a third optional round pin. North AmericaThe voltage of North America is 120 volts, with most electrical goods operating at around 110 volts. However in Asia you can find that there is a mix of plug types being used. For example a European plug will typically be a Type C, whereas a US plug type will be a Type A. Find out more in our comprehensive travel plug adapters guide. There are many types of plugs used across the world. Power outlets have different shapes in different parts of the world, so you will need an adapter to convert the shape of your home plug types to the shape of the outlets in the region of the world you're travelling too. If the voltage or plug type differs from those within your country of residence then you will need an adapter. Travel Adapters A travel adapter has become an essential for using electronic devices when you travel. cattle complex,” he said.įeeder cattle for August delivery settled at 243.25 cents a pound Tuesday on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange, a record high for the most-active contracts based on data going back to November 1971. “As feeder cattle cash and futures prices soar to record levels, we have a hard time seeing an end to the secular bull market for the U.S. Ultimately, feeder cattle become live cattle so higher feeder cattle prices can cause high prices of live cattle, said Kunisch. Prices for feeder cattle, which are cattle purchased for the feedlot market, and live cattle, which have reached slaughter weight in the feedlots, marked record-high settlements on Tuesday, according to FactSet data. Cattle supplies have fallen about 5% since peaking in 2019 due to “poor pasture conditions caused by drought, elevated feed costs, and poor margins.” The drought in the Southern Plains meant that there was less grass for the cattle to feed on, said David Maloni, president of foodservice supply chain consultancy Datum FS. Department of Agriculture’s biannual Cattle report. 1 of this year totaled 89.3 million head, down 3% from the Jan. that encompasses prime cattle breeding operations-in Texas, Oklahoma, Kansas and Nebraska-led to a culling of female animals over the last one-and-a-half years, said Walter Kunisch, Jr., senior commodities strategist at HTS Commodities. The “intractable” drought in the southwestern U.S. Join us in a more official capacity here.Cattle futures have climbed to their highest prices on record as drought conditions in the southwestern United States devastated the animals’ feeding grounds, contributing to a drop in the size of the domestic cattle herd to its smallest in eight years. Stock Market, Sectors, and individual stocks. Great catch Bruni!īecome a Member of Allstarcharts to get updates on this chart as well as the as the key levels we are watching to be short the U.S. Most importantly, the profit potential more than justifies the risk in this trade. For you guys who know me well, this trade has “JC” written all over it: 1) No one is talking about it 2) momentum is diverging positively on both weekly and daily timeframes and 3) the risk is extremely well-defined. here – I’m definitely with Bruni on this one. I think a monster squeeze is ahead and a strong weekly close would add to my conviction.Īs always, if you have any questions feel free to reach out and I’ll get back to you as soon as I can. The Bottom Line: With prices roughly 20% below their 200 day moving average, the potential for mean reversion in this market is high and the risk is well-defined. We only want to be long this market if we’re above the December lows and want to be taking profits at the YTD highs which correspond with the 200 day moving average near 170. If prices follow-through after this initial reversal, seasonal tailwinds could help prices really accelerate to the upside. Seasonality: It’s worth noting that these potentially bullish developments are occurring as prices enter what’s seasonally their strongest 3 month period of the year (May-July). Tactically we want to be long this market only if prices remain above this confluence of resistance on a daily closing basis and want to be taking profits near 170. Prices closed back above the downtrend line from the early April highs and the December lows to confirm the bullish momentum divergence and failed breakdown. The daily chart provides a more tactical view of this failed breakdown. As long as prices are above the December lows on a weekly closing basis, we want to be approaching this market from the long side. Normally we want to avoid markets with flat 200 period moving averages, but in this case we can utilize the failed moves that result from them to our advantage. The upside target for this potential move would be the YTD highs near 170. If this sharp reversal back above the December lows holds until the end of the week, it would confirm that bullish divergence and failed breakdown from a structural perspective. Last week prices made new marginal lows as momentum diverged positively. Structurally, prices have been stuck in the 145-170 range since breaking the uptrend line from the November 2009 lows. It currently sits at near 3 year lows and is down 15% for the year, but recent price action suggests this market could be setting up for a monster squeeze to the upside. From the desk of Tom Bruni across the commodities complex has been a significant theme throughout 2016, but Feeder Cattle has not participated to the upside at all this year. This transistor can be used in a wide variety of electronics applications due to its good features, for example it can be used to drive many loads in electronic circuits like high power relays, few high power LEDs under 500mA, many small LEDs, another part in a circuit, high power transistors and more. A lot of good features in its TO-92 package makes this transistor an ideal TO-92 transistor to have in your lab. The max transition frequency of the transistor is 250MHz due to which it can also perform well in RF projects under 250MHz. The collector to emitter voltage of the transistor is 40V due to which this transistor can be easily used in applications operating under 40V DC. The max collector current is 500mA that is quite enough to drive many loads in a circuit. If you have any questions feel free to ask. I profiled my python code and it says that this function accounts for 76% of the run time (It doesn't take up nearly as much percent-wise in MATLAB). The big culprit I believe is my derivative function. Both produce correct results albeit different due to stochasticity. To run my script in Python takes 113 seconds meanwhile it takes 7 seconds in MATLAB. I'm much more comfortable in Matlab however I've been required to convert my code from Matlab to Python. I'm sorry for my ignorance in using NumPy and python. |
